Wayne Rooney has been awarded the player of the month award for December. The announcemment came after Rooney scored 5 goals in the 7 played last month, but was he the best, what do you think, put forward your nomination for the player of the month. At the moment rooney is joint 4th in the race for the golden boot but are goals enough to earn him the player of the month award. maybe not but Rooney has shown unbelievable skills in the past year at United, it seems right that such an exciting young player be rewarded for his contribution to the team but maybe you have seen a player in your team who deserves commendation. I know amazing Football To You is back but more improtantly at half time Liverpool are losing to Luton Town. 2 years ago Luton were on the verge of disappearing from the wolrd of football but now they find themselves 2-1 up against the European champions. Gerrards early goal seemed to set the tone until goals from Steve Howard and Steve Robinson have given the home side an unexpected lead. At the moment Lutin are looking good for the ticket to the 4th round but if Liverpool lift their game then anything can happen to Mike Newell's side.
