Racist Disgrace

Although annoying Football can put up with divers, football can put up with people surrounding referees and for the moment football can put up with rubbish pitches at Stamford Bridge. There is one thing however that football cannot put up with, we all know what it is and any sane person says that something must be done. I have done reports on racism before but I feel I must write again. Luis Aragones, Spain manager , you remember the one who abused Henry. Well after e'tto was again taunted with monkey chants at the end of Barcelona's game with Zaragoza Aragones has denied that Spanish football has a racism problem. Sorry run that one by me again. Wright-Phillips is abused. Henry is abused by the Spanish manager. E'too is abused at Alaves. E'too is abused at Zaragoza. There is a problem it cannot be denied. The problem in England is being dealt with and thankfully racist chants seem to have been stamped out on the terraces in the majority of cases. But in Spain it is a problem and fines of £400 will not stop it. Something needs to be done although I don't know what. Aragones needs to bring his head out of the ground and face the truth. Spanish football has a problem with racism.

There are many schemes like this around but it would be nice to start one up on Footballtoyou. predicting results is something I've done for the first time this season and it is good to see how well you can do compared to others so this week I'll make predictions for the Premiership fixtures and you can do the same. So here are mine.

West Brom 1 vs 3 Chelsea
Aston Villa 2 vs 1 Portsmouth
Fulham 1 vs 1 Arsenal
Middlesbrough 2 vs 2 Birmingham City
Newcastle United 1 vs 0 Bolton
West Ham United 1 vs 1 Everton
Liverpool 2 vs 0 Charlton Athletic
Manchester City 2 vs 1 Sunderland
Tottenham Hotspur 2 vs 1 Blackburn
Wigan Athletic 0 vs 1 Manchester United.

Just copy and paste this into the comment box and change the results. Good luck

Wembley Opening Decided

After years of waiting for Wembley stadium England was devastated last week when it was revealed that the historic FA Cup Final would not be opening Wembley this May. But all is not lost. Wembley will still open. So will there be a huge game to open it. England vs Brazil?. England vs World XI and all time legends team. Well, no. The first game to be played at Wembley will be England vs Andorra. I was a littel dissapoited to hear the news but hopefully it means that England will start their life at the new Wembley with a win and with any luck a big win. It will be a great honour for Sven's replacement to lead out the English team for their first game at Wembley, but is this the right fixture to christen our beloved national stage. what game would you like to see grace the hallowed turf first. Drop us your ideas by leaving a comment. No need to register or any rubbish like that.

Ballack On The Move

Michael Ballack looks set to be on his way out of Bayern Munich when he becomes a free agent in the summer and today his agent announced that "Nothing has been signed, but there will be ongoing contact with Chelsea." So is Michael Ballack on his way to Chelsea and if he is then will he fit into a midfield that is already crowded with the likes of Frank Lampard, Claude Makelele Michael Essien and a number of other European standard players. At the age of 29 Ballack might well be in his prime and has declared that a move to Real Madrid is looking less likely after a change in leadership structure. His agent has also openly declared that a move to Inter Milan is out of the question. So will ballack go to Chelsea and if he does is it a good move. I think that Chelsea don't need another midfielder and bringing in Ballack will be a huge waste of money.
